Rainshine

rainy Rome used to make me so sad,
but i've recently reached
the conclusion that
happiness really should not be affected in absence of sunshine. ..
the following is a short
'poesia' [poem],
a rainy reflection
written yesterday morning

Rainy days
Overflow the fear
that life’s joy
can really
wash away
in the street dirt
and trash
others left behind
